Internet Infidelity warns:

Many spouses and couples have turned to strangers in chat rooms and Internet pornography for companionship and turned away from their family and friends. In many cases, these online relationships lead to real-life encounters and sexual infidelity.

Kind of them to warn us, eh? More likely it is a subtle sales pitch:

If you suspect that your partner is involved in an online affair or excessive usage of internet pornography, monitor your their online activity using the latest technology available. When you are not there to be with them, there are solutions. InfidelityCheck.org recommends Online Recorder Software by Original Programs.

Comments

I apologize up front if this entry is intrusive. I have designed a women's online magazine which depends upon the users and contributors to go forward. I thought that an article on internet infidelity would be a topic of interest and was wondering if anyone here would be interested in writing the article. I thought perhaps tackling the argument of "Is it infidelity if it occurs in a chat room or on a messenger?" If anyone is interested you can forward the article at http://www.myonlinemagazine.net/form2a.php. Thank you for your time in this matter. Sincerely, Lana

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Internet infidelity. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
