A look at cheap colognes that are marketed as scents that invoke uncontrollable lust in women.
"If there was really sexual magnetism in a bottle, it wouldn't cost $3.99," laughs Robin Milhausen, the co-host of the Life Network's Sex, Toys & Chocolate, who is currently conducting post-doctoral research on sexual arousal at the University of Windsor. "Actually, body spray can interfere with your ability to attract a woman. Pheromones are the body's natural way of drawing others to us." Also, unlike many mammals, humans respond best to visuals. "Smell is generally a repellent, and seldom the force that brings people together," says Guy Grenier, a clinical psychologist in London, Ont. "Body sprays play to men's fantasies and insecurities."
