This is the kind of event for which New York City exists. Speed dating between wealthy women and highly desirable younger men.
Cynics will laugh and prudes will frown. But as near as I can tell successful relationships are born of the least likely causes. And in a world of trophy wives why not trophy husbands and boyfriends. Hopefully at least a few mutually pleasing arrangements will come of it.
(Keep in mind I’m an insanely romantic idealist at heart but understand pragmatism’s place.)
Five thousand prospective ‘boy toys’ applied to appear at the venue but a mere twenty were chosen.

Wishful thinking perhaps but sometimes people should be allowed the dignity of their illusions.
