10 Amazingly Random Facts

After thousands of blog entries on I no longer am sure how many blogs I’ve finally been tagged for one of those blog meme things.
In an effort to oblige Silent Film Star herewith 10 Random Things About Richard Evans Lee:
- Until my mid-teens I planned on becoming an astrophysicist.
- I’ve co-owned a used bookshop for over twenty years. Annoyingly it makes less money than ever.
- I have a mad passion for weird menace and hero pulp fiction from the 1930s, 40s.
- I do not receive broadcast or cable television.
- Since divesting myself of my golden age comic book collection on eBay I no longer allow myself to collect anything.
- But I do own about three thousand CDs - I don’t think of it as a collection, just having enough to listen to.
- My secret sexual shame is that I do enjoy looking at the Katie Prices and Pam Andersons of this world.
- My greatest regret in life may not have been failing to take better care of my teeth but that is what I’ll claim for this list.
- My favorite quote is “The will to a system is a lack of integrity.” (Nietzsche - well it is an odd fact.)
- I don’t own a motor vehicle or even know how to operate one.
Now I’m supposed to tag some other innocents. Oddly while I read lots of blogs there are only a few I know well enough who haven’t recently been tagged to do something similar.

I do not have a TV in the house
I have no furniture, just a bed and a desk. I’m in one or at the other.
All my pants are slacks and all are black.
All my shirts are gray.
I run a porn website
I shoot all the pictures for said site.
Married 24 years (he could care less about the site)
No phone. Receive all information fax or email.
Above average cook (borderline chef)
Have hundreds of hours driving above 100mph (on a race track)

Oh wonderful … someone else in the Western world who doesn’t drive! I’m so glad we have this - and so many other things in common. I was sad to hear about your comic collection … I’ve still got mine, for the moment!
