EU to ban naked breasts?

Amorous Pop Culture

Germany's top-selling newspaper, Bild, has splashed a picture on its front page of a woman exposing her breasts in a protest against planned European Union rules it says will ban female nude images in the media.

EU accused of nudity cover-up plan

Comments

This really stinks! We are not like America and we do not want to be like it!
I am an American living in Sweden, and I think it a real shame. We dont need more repression here in the EU, we need to support the open mindedness that has kept this land "European" in the eyes of the world. "European films" have always conjured to mind a film containing nudity, au natural, never pornographic or violent... Come on people, lets find a way to keep those beautiful breats on the street.
Have the EU nothing better to do than try and force legislations upon people, I really don't think they should be spending time debating wheter or not to ban nakedness in the media.
One really has to ask, "What is going on here?" when the government begins putting restrictions like this on the media. It makes no sense, and a simple three letter word, "Why?", often comes to mind in these situations. Honestly, when people not native to Europe think of Europeans, they think of people who are LESS restrictive of these sorts of things then themselves, they think of people who DO show thier bodies in public. Needless to say, this peice of legislature does not fit European character.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about EU to ban naked breasts?. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
