Fantasy Factory

Amorous Pop Culture

A look at Ellora's Cave Romantica Publishing (romantica being a blend of romance and erotica).

The office walls are cluttered with test prints and mockups of book and magazine covers -- bare-chested men with flowing locks in pirate suits and Egyptian garb; couples in windblown embraces.

The adjoining warehouse is stacked with books bearing such titles on their spines as Highland Stallion and Secret Thirst and His Carnal Need. A stack of packaged black T-shirts on a shipping desk asks, "Got Sex?"

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Fantasy Factory. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
