My wife and I are Christians, and both of us believe the basic doctrines taught by the Christian church for the last few thousand years.
But she is a “big picture” kind of person, and a natural leader. I’m a detail-oriented person, and have usually worked in system support or maintenance or other “serving people to get their work done” kind of jobs. Sometimes I can’t see the forest for the trees, though, so should not be in charge of anything really important.
As a result, at home, she leads and I do what she decides needs to be done. This may not be exactly the model Biblical writers had in mind, but nobody’s advice can apply to everyone in every situation. Some people cannot read, or speak, or have other problems, and thus cannot carry out every Biblical instruction, but nobody takes it as a failing on their part that they do not follow every word.
Really, I don’t see what the big deal is.

If you search Google for domestic discipline you’ll find a few sites where the male head of household is completely in charge of the relationship and uses spankings to keep his wife obedient.
I’ve seen a few Christian kink dating sites but they did was send people to alt.com.

My married mate & I are christians. I am the head of the household, I make the decisions of how we live, what we buy, what we ssave or invest in, and how we dress. Hal, is the homemaker. I helped him obtain a 32 hour a week job, so he would have time to take care of the house, do the shopping, & help his ego. I lead in our private lives as well. When he disobeys me in anyway I discipline him, but never phyically. I am very proud of him.

Given the various forms of Christianity I’m sure it harmonizes with some. Particularly the Loving Female Authority form of D/s.
