[Xahara] is a new search engine specialized in adult galleries, images, and movies. The database is updated in real-time and the newest additions (usually minutes old) are displayed first in the search results. It’s like Google news but then focused on adult images and movies :) Search results include preview thumbnail images.
Since Xahara is in beta it is a little hard to know how to judge it.
Response time is good. The site is bound to become popular and I hope they'll be able to continue to add servers to support increased demand (I'm assuming revenue will come from click-throughs).
I like ladyboys but that isn't what most gay men would expect to see when searching on 'gay.' Searching for 'gay men' got more appropriate results. Many adult sites abuse keywording and that is probably the root of the problem.
Clicking through to a few sites didn't bring me into popup hells. That is something Xahara should insure stays that way.
Maybe this will take keep some people from wasting their time on Google sex searches.
