Parinya Charoenphol shocked the kickboxing world

BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - When Assani Suwan was cast to play Thailand's most famous transvestite kickboxer, he thought boxing skills, looking good in makeup and enthusiasm were all it took to play the part.

But months have passed and Assani, 22, says he still has not been able to overcome the "challenge'' of getting under the skin of the former male boxer with a woman's heart, whose life is being immortalized in the multilingual movie "Beautiful Boxer.''

hi , i've watched the movie beautiful boxer ,and i really wanna say it's so wonderful that Toom achieved is dream after walking such hard path .Everybody gotta know how difficult it is to succeed in Muay Thai and nobody can nowdays even more say that because your gay or transvestite you can't fight after seing what Parinya have done .i wish her lot of happiness in her new life . I'm not gay or transvestite and i think everybody got the right to do what he feel is the best for him so when someone succeed it's wonderful :D

God bless her. She is an amazing story. As an open minded person who has dated katoeys, I can tell you all they really want is to be accepted. They claim to be 'unloveable', or treated purely as sex toys for filandering husbands of real women. They are real people with big hearts and are very much lovable.

when ive read the synopsis of beautiful boxer, i couldnt wait to see the film. i even brought along my friends to watch it. i was mesmerized by how the film was done. superb acting and i think that the film is just as right as it was done. i even wished that it should be nominated for foreign film category in the oscar. one more thing, i wanna know how parinya looks today. so pls post a picture of her. thanks and more power
