Paul Denyer, a convicted murderer who claims to be a transsexual has been denied the right to wear make-up in prison.
A spokesman for Corrections Victoria later said the wearing of make-up in prison was in breach of policy and contrary to the "safety and good order of a prison to permit any male prisoner to purchase or use cosmetics".
