SRS : Why

Gender Outsiders: Transgendered & Others

A male-to-female transsexual talks to others about the choice to have gender reassignment surgery.

I guess it was the same for every one of us if asked why we did it at a certain age or time. Some of us denied ourselves for as long as we could, some of us waited until we were financially capable, and some of us went through it after we had appeased the people around us.

It was a long journey for us all to take but it was inevitable. Anyone wanting to know all the whys and hows can only be told that the long way that we took was the only way we knew to find our way home.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about SRS : Why. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
