Men! Boys! Be more manly!
» Gender Studies
Ah that silly old war of the sexes. You thought it had gone away didn't you? People say that heterosexual men feel marginalized. That women have taken the power (well, OK, on play nights she does).
The call goes out for men to be more masculine. Pity the poor straight man at the bottom of life's barrel. Even TV shows, at least Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, mock him:
“It is basically saying that no straight man knows how to dress himself,” says Salzman. “So at the top you have women and the next most refined individual after that is a gay man — and at the bottom of the pecking order you have a straight man.
Future perfect: how to be a 'real' man again
To paraphrase Andy Warhol on fear of being middle class: there’s nothing less masculine than worrying about it.
This does make a nice sequel to the entry on female superiority.

This is pretty funny, but I don’t think it’s as simple as this. Lots of people benefit from us thinking this hierarchy exists-namely, lifestyle merchants. I edit a nonprofit magazine called American Sexuality and so read sex blogs every day (rough life, I know). We ran an article about this in our new issue.

sometimes i get the feeling i want to be spanked by my wife. she regularly \gets her bottom whipped and is happy to fulfill my request. I am told to go to our bedroom, get naked, and have the hairbrush at my side. when she enters I am told to get over her knees, explain why I need a spanking. the reason is misconduct with my secretary .my bottom is then tanned good and hard for which was convincing and taught me a lesson. she forgave me and my misdeed will not be repeated.
