No valentines for Senate Office staff

Heterogeneous

Candice

Expressions of love will be harder to find on Capitol Hill this year, after the recent discovery of ricin in a Senate mailroom. Consistent with the suspension of mail delivery, Senate Sergeant at Arms William H. Pickle has issued this edict: "Staff may not accept commercial delivery of Valentine's Day flowers, plants, balloons, and related gifts at the Capitol or the Senate Office Buildings."

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about No valentines for Senate Office staff. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
