Where polygamy rules

Heterogeneous

Douglas Todd in the Vancouver Sun writes of Mormons who've fled from the US to Canada to practice polygamy:

Bountiful is more threatened today than it's ever been in the 62 years since this breakaway sect from the mainstream Mormon church (which banned polygamy in the 1800s) moved north from the U.S. to establish a Bible-inspired colony here, hidden from the long arm of the law and monogamous conformity.

On a B.C. commune called Bountiful, a Mormon sect keeps the world at bay

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Where polygamy rules. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
