Canada's Supreme Court Better than America's
• Laws and Politicians, Mostly Bad
Canada's Supreme Court recognizes people have the right to have fun:
Consenting adults cavorting behind closed doors in twosomes, threesomes and moresomes while like-minded people look on are not committing indecent acts, the court said in a major ruling which cast some clarity into a murky area of the law.
Supreme Court of Canada says OK to swingers clubs with group sex, swapping
"Consensual conduct behind code-locked doors can hardly be supposed to jeopardize a society as vigorous and tolerant as Canadian society."
Country's highest court rules sex clubs are legal
Of course there are always the pious pests:
"The Supreme Court's view of freedom isn't freedom at all. In fact, it's very destructive to the families affected by this behaviour," said Pastor Bruce Martin of the Calvary Temple in Winnipeg. "Sex is far more beautiful than some kind of orgy."
