Foolish Greeks protest bisexual Alexander
» Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual
Colin Farrell's portrayal of Alexander has some silly Greeks upset. Oddly, I was pricing some scholarly ancient history books just a few days ago. There seemed no doubt about Alexander's bisexuality or the name of his most significant male lawyer. And what would the Greeks say if a movie were made about that very famous gay man, one of the sources of Western Civilization, Socrates?
You can say what you like about a Greek hero - just don't suggest he was gay. That's the message from a group of Greek lawyers who are threatening to sue director Oliver Stone over his portrayal of Alexander the Great as a battle-hardened fop frequently enjoying affairs with younger men.
The lawyers have warned Warner Bros that they will take legal action if it is not made clear that the film, scheduled for release in a number of countries this month, is based on fiction.
Legal threat over 'gay' Alexander

Well, he is our’s of our community. Greece has lost it’s history some time ago… they are now supposedly 99.9% chirstian which means that they have no more history… After all Alexander was older than Jesus… He killed the world he didn’t love it.
