Gay dad must hide lovers, lifestyle

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A gay father can't flaunt a homosexual lifestyle when his son is around, a state appeals court has ruled.

But the state Court of Appeals, in a decision released Tuesday, said it was wrong for a Williamson County judge to send Joseph Randolph Hogue to jail for telling his son about being gay.

As part of a divorce hearing, the lower court had barred Hogue from "taking the child around or otherwise exposing the child to his gay lover(s) and/or his gay lifestyle." The court then slapped Hogue with a contempt of court ruling for telling his son he was gay.

Reading anything like that just pisses me off. How can people still be so ignorant? Homosexuality is ILLEGAL?!? How is that possible in 2004? I act straighter than some straight guys I know. Straight people are paranoid, and it sucks that gays have to "pay for it", as it were.

Unblievable. It really is 2004, isn't it? What is next? They take away our liberties and then our life style. Sounds more like Nazisim than a democracy. I have many questions but no answers!!
