The world's most homophobic man's (at least I hope he is) family visits Pennsylvania.
"Go back to where you came from!" Casey Bossler, 17, yelled at the Kansas protesters. Bossler and several other Lebanon teens attended Unity Day with their best friend, who is gay, she said.
"You cannot live like the devil and die and go to heaven," said Shirley Phelps-Roper, 45, one of 13 children of Fred Phelps, pastor of the Kansas church. "There isn't anything more important in this life."
Phelps-Roper, who held a sign reading "God hates America," said the United States had doomed itself.
"It's a big lie in this generation that God loves everyone," she said.
The group began the day by picketing several Lebanon churches that it said promote homosexuality.
