Father Jose Mariani

Much to his regret Father Jose Mariani was only successful sexually with woman as he recounts in No Beating About The Bush, The Life of a Priest:

"I could hear my heart beat in ecstasy before the beauty of the body offered before me. I smothered the body with the sweat of my skin," wrote Fr Mariani, describing his first sexual experience as a young priest. Later in the book he recounts trying to have sex with "Antonio" but "our mutual inhibitions conquered our momentary permissiveness and openness".
