How will you spend National Purity Day?

A group of self-righteous prudes called the Liberty Counsel is pushing February 13th as National Day of Purity. Their goal is to persuade people to remain sexually frustrated and not have sex outside of marriage (so gay people would never be allowed to have sex).

They are also denouncing a high school health textbook that contains this unassailable truth:

"You may come to the conclusion that growing up means rejecting the values of your parents."

I think you need to have an open mind about this issue, all these people are trying to do is express the importance of sex, and where and when the right time is. I can not see how what they are doing is wrong, and believe it to be an amazing idea. How can you judge these people?

Who are these people and what are their traditional values? Surely these people must come from the age of sexual freedom, Woodstock, free love, etc. Whose traditions? The Taliban, the Amish, the Mormons? I suppose that these groups could claim purity before marriage as a tradition, but what about the California surfing community, gays, and all the other normal folk , a vast majority, who just keep quiet about their sex lives. Who are these people to tell us what our traditions are? Traditionally I'd screw any woman that made me an offer. But then I am a hetro' male.
