Jewish Barbie dolls symbols of perversion

Saudi Arabia's Committee for the Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (akin to John Ashcroft's attorney general's office) listed Barbie dolls on its Web site as offensive to conservative practitioners of Islam.

"Jewish Barbie dolls," the Web site said, "with their revealing clothes and shameful postures, accessories and tools, are a symbol of decadence to the perverted West." ...

Sheik Abdulla al-Merdas, a preacher in a Saudi mosque, told the Associated Press it wasn't a problem that little girls play with dolls. "But these dolls should not have the developed body of a woman and wear revealing clothes."

He said Barbie was modeled after a real-life Jewish woman.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Jewish Barbie dolls symbols of perversion. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments.
