If you remember the little Lulu comic books (and I know you don't) you'll recall the "No girls allowed!" sign the boys club had on their clubhouse. I often wish I could post a "No prudes wanted" (not to mention other pests) appear to deter some of the folks who find their way to my pages and leave me little notes denouncing the evil that I'm doing to American civilization &etc.
Really I post this as another entertaining example of early sleazy paperback covers. It must've been quite a balancing act to combine the edifying warning and the titillating image. Well, considering the care that went into these productions it probably took fifteen seconds.
