Sex You'll Never See Here (But You Can Ask)
» Richard Evans Lee
I spent lots of time examining the state of sexuality around the world.
We all know that sex talk is a huge business, a mighty industry of pop culture.
There are plenty of things I either ignore or post on one of my other sites.
Things that I ignore:
The startling number of preachers who are busted for sex crimes. Too easy.
Actually stupid, senseless sex crimes are depressingly common. Most of them either involve minors - at which point my normally liberal attitude vanishes or trying to use some minor point of social power to take advantage of another.
The horrifying number of people who are arrested for having erotica they've downloaded off the web. If your computer dies and you have porn on it then the best thing may be to physically destroy the hard drive.
Terrifyingly pedestrian sexual self-help advice. Making love doesn't require a post graduate degree. Neither is being a caring, loving, honest partner. But most people don't have these skills. Two common human traits come into play: they are stupidly selfish and stupidly inhibited. Self-interest is fine but so many people seem to hurt themselves practicing it unintelligently. Learn to talk. Open your mouth. Use words.
Things to make your sex life better. I do note a few. More often I write about aphrodisiacs and the like that will at best waste your money. Anyone who can boost your libido will be a major pharmaceutical manufacturer. You'll see it advertised elsewhere. Despite what much spam says you'd best get your doctor to give you a prescription.
Porn. I do note some adult entertainment industry stuff elsewhere. But really other people do it better. I - sorry - don't care for porn.
Sexy celebrities. Moved elsewhere. When I have the time. What sensible person gives a damn what Brad and Angelina are up to tonight?
BDSM is still noted here on and off. But much of it is posted on two other sites.
If you've somehow read this far and wish I'd do things differently here's your chance to tell me. Not that I'll necessarily change a thing. I do this for fun. But you can leave a comment and let me know what you'd do if this were your site. Or say anything about it your heart desires.
