Reports of African witch doctors - “traditional healers” - using their cultural authority to take advantage of women aren’t that uncommon. Why his penis was bleeding isn’t clear.
He apparently told the woman to lie down on a blanket on the floor, smeared “medicine” over her face and upper body, then allegedly raped her at knife point.
Afterwards, he realised his penis was bleeding and was taken to hospital.
