Chopping off an unfaithful man's penis is becoming an increasingly popular form of revenge in Thailand. The angry women will go to unusual lengths to insure the penis can't be reattached.
While not unique to the kingdom, penis severing has been honed here to its most devastating effect through a heady mixture of routine infidelity, assertive womanhood and a national cuisine that lends itself to a kitchen full of sharp knives.
The men are now fearful of a rash of Thailand's most notorious crime of passion, according to a surgeon who has stitched back many a male member for grateful patients.
The phenomenon has become so widespread that doctors have had to keep up with increasingly inventive and angry wives and lovers who want to prevent the offending item from being reattached.
'They boil them, feed them to ducks, flush them down the toilet, bury them and have even tied them to hot air balloons and let them float away,' Dr Surasak said.
Guess what gets fed to ducks or flushed away?

I have a question for Richard, would a gay partner become so irrationaly extreme if their partner left them, or were unfaithful? I think one man would know how precious a penis is to all men.

I don’t think irrationality or the pain at infidelity are either more or less common among straight or gay couples or men or women.

Women do such things ands still dont get punished . I really wish men would wisen up and start chopping of women’s breasts and genitals for any sexual offence women commit , such as adultery as above and women who hit below the belt should mandatorily have their breasts and genitals cut off .
How’s that for equality , women ? You still want equal treatment ?
