Zap! You Are a Sex Criminal
» Sex Crime
Here’s an evil bit of law evidently invented by Ohio Roman Catholics as a way of easing their legal burdens.
An Ohio legislative panel yesterday rubber-stamped an unprecedented process that would allow sex offenders to be publicly identified and tracked even if they’ve never been charged with a crime.
Did someone really piss you off? Would you like revenge? How about:
A recently enacted law allows county prosecutors, the state attorney general, or, as a last resort, alleged victims to ask judges to civilly declare someone to be a sex offender even when there has been no criminal verdict or successful lawsuit.
Once magically transformed into a sex criminal your name, address and photo will be placed online. And you’ll be subject to the same registration and living requirements as a convicted pedophile.

I doubt this law will be supported by the US Supreme Court. Even under Stalin, you received at least a show trial.
