Heidi Fleiss' proposed male brothel has been getting lots of press. And it may only be a publicity stunt for her new employer Cherry Patch Ranch.
Syndicated sex columnist Dr. Laura Berman says:
"I think ultimately women still mostly have sex in the, in the context of a relationship," Berman said. "But there is greater permission for women to have sex for the sake of pleasure."
I think men mostly have sex in context of relationships. Or, at least, most of them aren't paying for it.
But Berman said there could be a number of reasons for women to visit a male prostitute. "To say it's just going to be women desperate for sex will not be the whole story," she said.
Berman said the "stud farm" could appeal to women who want a taste of sexual adventure and experimentation, or even to try to reach orgasm, without the pressure of pleasing a regular partner
If they need to pay $250 for an orgasm they might be just a tad desperate. (Having been in the business many years ago - I ran Atlanta's first callboy service (and worked for others in SF and LA) - I know there really lots of reasons for paying for physical love. Speed and convenience for example.)

I’d pay, I get fed up with the games and rubbish behaviour of some of the men I meet at times and sometimes the vibrator just isn’t quite enough.
I’d really welcome somewhere like the bunnyranch where I’d be safe and so would he. I have seriously thought about using someone before but held back for my own safety.

To Vanpan: Are you only interested in visiting an establishment or would you search locally/online for individuals offering the same? You cite safety as your primary concern, would you not feel safe visiting a self-employed man’s place of residence?

I would consider it, though it seems pricey. It would be nice to have sex my way. Without listening to the whines of my (ex)husband. Without the aggravation of dating. Without caring what he thinks of me, or expecting to ever see him again. Though, some part of me thinks I’d want it to mean something to him, even then. Although the idea sounds good I don’t think it would be enough for me.
