High Heels in the Sand is the name of an exhibition about the lives of women who are lured to Israel to become little more than professional sex slaves.
"The amazing thing," Ben-Asher Peretz said of her forays into the brothels and apartments where victims of the trade sex are kept, "is that I would just walk into these places with my camera, and tell the pimps I was doing research for an exhibition about trafficking in women. They let me do whatever I wanted, and even posed for me."
