NZ: Sex workers' privacy to be respected

Sex Workers

Professional sex isn't illegal in New Zealand.

National spokeswoman for the Prostitutes' Collective, Catherine Healey, is pleased about the move. She says it was inappropriate to record the details of people who are not criminals. She hopes there will be a consistent approach by police throughout New Zealand in destroying the records.

Sex worker registry discontinued

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about NZ: Sex workers' privacy to be respected. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
Richard
