One Canadian community’s attempt to eliminate streetwalkers. At least it doesn’t attack the sex workers directly.
A total of 33 signs saying “this community does not tolerate prostitution,” with a vice squad phone number ( … ) are being installed this week from NAIT to Beverly. More signs will follow in other areas such as 95th Street, Westmount and along Stony Plain Road in the west end.

Callers to the Report-A-John line will hear a recorded voice asking for details of the alleged prostitution-related incident, including the make and model of the vehicle involved and identifying features of the alleged john. …
Suspected johns can expect to receive a letter in the mail detailing the hazards of their vice.
