Hopefully Temucin Senkul's study of adult circumcision won't lead to spam selling do-it-yourself home circumcision kits.

"We can say with more certainty that adult circumcision does not adversely affect sexual function," writes Senkul. The increase in time to reach ejaculation "can be considered an advantage rather than a complication."

From what i've heard, the reason for this is that circumcision significantly dulls your, uhh, member. The foreskin is supposed to be the most sensitive part of the male body. I wouldn't know, as mine was chopped off before i was old enough to have any say in the matter. Several other studies (and personal reports) have claimed that women achieve orgasm significantly more often with UNcircumcised men. So while this study may have found men take longer to ejaculate when circumcised, it fails to take into account the possibility that a foreskin adds significantly to the pleasure of sex, on both sides of the couple.

I'm uncircumcized. My foreskin is no more sensitive than my big toe. What is under it is very sensitive. Having witnesses plenty orgasms by circumsized guys I know they aren't missing anything.
