Asexuality
» Sexual Health
I find periods of asexuality slightly frightening. So my initial response to the idea of living an asexual life was pity. But if asexuals don't mind their condition they are certainly spared much fuss and bother.
Asexuality clarified:
Asexuality isn't celibacy -- the refusal to act on attraction. It's the absence of attraction.
Quantified:
Statistically speaking, there are indeed others -- up to 4 1/2 million Americans, a population perhaps half to a third the size of those who identify as gay/lesbian, bi and transgendered.

Comments
This reminds me of biology class, asexual reproduction. If this goes on then people would have to find ways to reproduce asexually like worms.

I’m not sure where this comment goes, I am new to this site. I have known men that are purely voyeurs. They love the idea of looking at pictures of women, but even when they have access to very beautiful, willing women, they have no desire to engage in sexual activity with them. What do you suppose that is all about?
