Pfizer: Viagra not for women

Sexual Health

After eight years and three thousand women Pfizer says Viagra will not help women.

Dr Mitra Boolel, the leader of the company's sex research team, admitted: "The brain is the crucial sexual organ in a woman."

While a man's arousal almost always led to a desire for sex, there was no such obvious corresponding factor with women, he said.

"There's a disconnect in many women between genital changes and mental changes," he explained. "This disconnect does not exist in men. Men consistently get erections in the presence of naked women and want to have sex. With women, things depend on a myriad of factors."

Sex really is all in the mind for women

Comments

Boolel's study is *garbage*. Newsflash: millions of women use porn, participate in casual sex, use sextoys, etc. AND WE LOVE IT. I'm struggling to see the "emotional, intellectual and relationship-based factors" in any of those female activities. I'm a woman and I've never been turned on by poetry, shoes, flowers, dinners or any of that other garbage. I get really sick of sexist assholes telling me what turns me on. I say to Boolel: You don't speak for me. You speak only for conservative assholes like yourself. By the way, Boolel is not breaking any new ground with this bullshit "study". He is peddling the same garbage that has been peddled by sexists for hundreds of years. There's nothing unconventional about it. Boolel should stop acting like he's breaking new ground by repeating the same bullshit that has been said a million times. Fuck Pfizer. Kaitlyn
None of the women I've known well have conformed to those stereotypes. But many do seem to. I don't think it is an issue of brain chemistry but social conditioning, pop culture crap like the Mars and Venus books.
Is that why I am making so much money as a Passion Parties consultant? The sex toy industry, namely in home sex toy parties that are provided in a group of women, would not be so popular if they were only able to get off mentally. Women like toys, boys, other women, and are able to know what they like, how their body parts work, etc. It is possible that the preponderance of male researchers that liken themselves to Freudian theory are what is at fault here, rather than the basic fact that men can only respond physically. HorseRubbish! Women are beginning to learn that they love sex and that is okay to do so, and they can get horny from visual as well as audio, tactile, etc.

How do you feel?

Feel free to share your feelings about Pfizer: Viagra not for women. Please stick to the theme of the entry. Disagreement is fine. Homophobia, racism, and kindred expressions of hatred will be deleted. This site is one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy hearing from people and hate moderating or killing comments. Forthright disagreement is fine as long as it is civil.
My thanks,
